This project will increase the level of support available for residents of Brighton and Hove to have home composters, and will introduce a subsidised water butt scheme for residents. The scheme will take place over 2 years, providing £24k of support each year to households across the area. The expansion of the composting scheme to include water butts will result in significant benefits both for residents and the local area. Collecting rain water using water butts reduces water consumption and the energy required to treat water, whilst it can even provide healthier water for garden plants. *This project location has been randomly chosen within the borough*
