In order to improve levels of recyling and appropriate waste collection, this project will trial an improved communal bin system across Brighton in certain regions, with a view to expand the communal system city wide in future. The trial will happen in two different areas in Brighton and Hove, over two consecutive years. In each site a consistent set of containers will be placed to encourage an increase in recycling and a reduction of black bag waste. There will be one refuse, one recycling and one glass container at each site. *This project location has been randomly chosen within the borough*
