As part of the Future Ready Homes project in Shropshire, a 1970s domestic property will be retrofitted to reduce energy use and therefore emissions. This project will install a range of energy efficiency measures - such as loft insulation and improving the windows - whilst also installing an air source heat pump to provide low carbon heating. Beyond saving carbon emissions, the retrofit will generate knowledge about domestic retrofit and raise awareness across the council, encouraging further action. *This project location has been randomly chosen with the borough*
