In order to reduce emissions associated with transport in Wigan, this project is seeking to invest in a low carbon method of producing asphalt to resurface a stretch of road in the borough. The low carbon road resurfacing will use innovative asphalt mixing techniques which use lower quantities of energy than traditional methods. In addition to the carbon savings from the production of asphalt, the project will help stimulate futher R&D of low carbon projects in the sector. *This project location is randomly generated within the borough*
